Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire position information of radio communication equipment without increasing burdens on a manager by simple structure. SOLUTION: This multi-hop radio communication system 10 is constituted by connecting, like a tree, a plurality of relay stations 13-16 and terminal stations 17-20 to subordinate hierarchy of at least two base stations 11, 12 in which pieces of self-position information are prestored. The relay station 13 transmits a coordinate information request frame requesting transmission of the position information to the base stations 11, 12 or the relay stations 13-16 existing around itself, receives a coordinate information response frame as its response and measures receiving intensity of the coordinate information response frame. The relay station 13 calculates its position information based on a ratio between coordinate information at a transmitting origin included in the coordinate information response frame received from the base stations 11, 12 at a hierarchy level higher than that of itself and the measured receiving intensity of the coordinate information response frame.
