DISPLAY CONTROL PROGRAM AND PORTABLE TERMINAL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assist a user in accurately and easily performing screen operation, even when a display region of the body display unit is smaller than the display region of an external display device. SOLUTION: An area information storage means 15 stores information on the display regions of the body display unit 12 and that of external display device 2. A screen data generating means 16 acquires a content to be displayed and generates screen data, corresponding to the display region of the external display device 2. A whole display means 17 sections the screen data into a plurality of partial regions, according to the display region of the body display unit 12, adds region display data indicative of correspondence relation between ranges of the partial regions and identifiers identifying the partial regions, and displays them on the external display device 2. A partial display means 18, on inputting an identifier from an input unit 11, extracts the range of the partial region, corresponding to the input identifier from the screen data and displays it on the body display unit 12.
