ELECTRONIC COMPONENT MOUNTER AND SUCTION NOZZLE FOR SUCKING ELECTRONIC COMPONENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component mounter capable of stably and properly detecting the presence or absence of each of a plurality of kinds of suction nozzles having different diameters, and to provide a suction nozzle for sucking the electronic component. SOLUTION: The suction nozzle for sucking an electronic component picks up an electronic component based on vacuum suction and mounts the component onto a substrate, and is replaceably mounted on a nozzle mounting portion of the electronic component mounter. In the suction nozzle, a narrowing portion 112g having a narrowing diameter smaller than the hole diameter of an internal flow passage hole 112f is provided on the internal flow passage hole 112f of a suction nozzle 112 so that a flow rate value in a state where the suction nozzle 112 is not mounted on the nozzle mounting portion and a flow rate value in a state where the suction nozzle is mounted can be segmented on the basis of a threshold in detecting the presence or absence of the suction nozzle 112 in the nozzle mounting portion by comparing the flow rate value of a vacuum sucking circuit detected by the flow rate sensor with a threshold for measurement.
