Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information provision system allowing acquisition of traceability information of a commodity by voice not via a network, and not imposing cost for the information acquisition on a consumer. SOLUTION: In this information provision system, a commodity label 1002 printed with a two-dimensional bar code 1009 recording a trace number uniquely decided from the traceability information is stuck on the commodity. When holding it up the system, a sensor 1003 responds it, and a system main body 1010 is started through switch input 1008 of the system main body 1010. A bar code reader 1001 reads the two-dimensional bar code, processes the read data by a control part 1006 configured by a microcomputer circuit through a communication part 1005, reads voice data corresponding to the trace number from a voice reproduction part 1007, and outputs them to a speaker 1004.
