Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide powder suitable for continuously casting a Ni-based alloy having a low melting point, and further to provide a method for continuously casting a slab of a Ni-Cu-based alloy having no surface defect. SOLUTION: The powder for continuously casting the Ni-Cu-based alloy comprises 25 to 40 mass% of CaO, 25 to 40 mass% of SiO2, 10 to 20 mass% of Na2O, 1 to 10 mass% of Al2O3, (1.5 mass% or less of Li2O), 3 to 10 mass% of F, and 0.3 to less than 4 mass% of aggregate C, and has a basicity of 0.8 to 1.5, a viscosity of 0.5 to 3 poise at 1,300°C, and a solidifying temperature of 900 to 1,200°C.
