DIGITAL BROADCAST RECEIVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "digital broadcast receiver" capable of ensuring continuity of broadcast contents just before switching and broadcast contents just after switching when switching video and audio output layers of the same broadcast contents even in a case where a temporal shift is caused between the same broadcast contents corresponding to a plurality of layers in simultaneous broadcasting, respectively. SOLUTION: In order to suppress out-of-synchronism being caused between audio and audio in the same broadcast contents corresponding to a plurality of layers, respectively, from reflecting the broadcast contents as a discontinuous state of the video/audio outputting broadcast contents just before switching the layers and the video/audio outputting broadcast contents just after switching the layers when switching the video/audio output layers of the same broadcast contents, video/audio output timing is adjusted by video/audio output timing adjusting means 5, 6, 25.
