PAVING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a paving machine using a conventional measuring plate that accurate measurement of the weight of a paving material can not be conducted as the paving material is firmly fixed in a gap causing stoppage of up-down movement of the measuring plate according to the applied load. SOLUTION: When the paving material 60 conveyed by a bar 45 passes the gaps 53 on upper and lower sides of the slope, part of the paving material 60 is sometimes caught in the gaps 53. However, opposite side faces 40a, 50a of a bottom plate 40 and a measuring plate 50 forming each of the gaps 53 are formed to be inclined at angles θ1 and θ2 so that the space between the side faces 40a, 50a may expand as they go apart from an upper face 40b of the bottom plate 40 and a measuring face 50b of the measuring plate 50 along the thickness directions 73, 75. Therefore, the side faces 40a and 50a of the bottom plate 40 and the measuring plate 50 do not act to keep the paving material 60, which is caught in the gaps 53, staying at the position, and the paving material 60 caught in the gaps 53 drops immediately.
