BELT CONVEYOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt conveyor lighter in weight, more inexpensive and more compact without using electric power at all to feed a carrying belt long, only if an input pedal is lightly stepped and released. SOLUTION: When a worker steps and releases a pedal part 10a of the input pedal 10 by his foot, a coil spring 11 contracted once discharges stored elastic energy and is elongated, the input pedal 10 is pushed up, a rack gear 12 is raised integrally with the input pedal 10 to rotate a pinion gear 13, also a first sprocket 14 is rotated, and the rotation is transmitted to a second sprocket 16 by a chain 15. As a result that the second sprocket 16 is also rotated, a driving shaft 6a is also rotated. By the rotation, a driving roller 6 is rotated, and the driving roller 6 is rotated several times as many as the rotation by inertia force due to weight of the driving roller 6 to travel the carrying belt 4 and carry an object to be carried at a stretch.
