WIPER CONTROL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper control device capable of immediately performing the wiping operation when a knob is operated so as to shorten the intermittent period of a wiper motor while suppressing the product cost. SOLUTION: The wiper control device 11 is capable of changing the intermittent period of a wiper to be set by the time constants of a first variable resistor VR1 and a capacitor C1 in a predetermined adjustable range by changing the resistance value of the first variable resistor VR1 through the operation of a knob. Based on this constitution, the wiper control device 11 has an operational direction detection circuit 24 for detecting that the knob is operated to the FAST side so difference to shorten the intermittent period of the wiper, and a time constant changing circuit 24 for changing the time constant for setting the intermittent period of a wiper motor 15 to a value smaller than the normal value when detecting that the knob is operated to the high-speed side through the operational direction detection circuit 24.
