UNLOCKING MECHANISM FOR VEHICLE SEAT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the manipulability of a series of operations for forwardly tilting a seat back and also for unlocking engagement of a vehicle seat with a floor with the seat back forwardly tilted. SOLUTION: In this unlocking mechanism, when a second operation member 40 is engaged with a first operation member 30 by an engagement pin P, the second operation member 40 is integrally rotated with the first operation member. Before the seat back 2 is forwardly tilted, the first operation member 30 and second operation member 40 are mutually engaged by the engagement pin P. The first and second operation members are integrally rotated, thereby the fixed back rest angle of the seat back 2 is made free. When the first operation member 30 is further rotated, the movement of the second operation member 30 in the same direction is regulated and also the rotation of the first operation member 30 is regulated. When the seat back 2 is forwardly tilted, the first and second operation members are disengaged from each other.
