PRODUCT WITH TOOTH PROFILE, AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product with a tooth profile which is a cold forged product having the tooth profile in which the radius of curvature of a corner part of a tooth tip, the surface roughness of a tooth width surface and the surplus metal length have high precision and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a product with a tooth profile successively performs an upsetting step of upsetting a rough tooth profile 62 of a work, and an ironing step of ironing a tooth width surface 63 and an outside diameter surface 64 of the rough tooth profile 62 by an ironing unit 31 formed on a die 3 when performing the knock-out of the rough tooth profile 62. In the manufacturing method, the product with the tooth profile of high precision in which the radius of curvature of a corner part of a tooth tip and the surface roughness of the tooth width surface are improved compared with those of the upsetting can be manufactured by performing the ironing by using the ironing unit 31 provided on the die 3 during the knock-out operation after upsetting the tooth profile.
