DEVICE FOR PREPARING WHOLE FISH SERVED AS SASHIMI AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for preparing a whole fish served as sashimi (raw sliced fish) and a method for preparing the same, without requiring a skill, capable of preparing the fish such as Pacific saury or horse mackerel as fillets in a state of without cutting the head of the fish from its back bone by the work of a machine and capable of serving the fillets also as a small boat type dish up. SOLUTION: This device for preparing the whole fish is provided by installing a pair of rotary blades 4, 4 adjusted at a width for cut-opening a fish body 2 along the both sides of its back bone 3 in parallel to each other, moving while rotating the both rotary blades 4, 4 along the both sides of the backbone from the tail part to head part of the fish body 2 and stopping at the neck part 8, and also cutting off only both of half meats 10, 10 by applying cutters from both sides to the neck part 8 so as to separate the both half meats 10, 10 in a state of connecting the head part 6 with the backbone 3.
