PIXEL DATA TRANSFER CONTROLLER AND PIXEL DATA TRANSFER CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pixel data transfer controller capable of making the circuit scale of a logic circuit constituting an output data selector small, and to provide a pixel data transfer control method. SOLUTION: The pixel data transfer controller 100 is a device for performing control to read color pixel data composed of pixel data of m color elements from a memory storing the color pixel data through an input bus 160 having n-byte width and transfer the color pixel data to an image processing circuit through output buses (170 to 172) associated with the color elements and includes buffers (101 to 112) provided with a storage capacity for storing pixel data of one color element constituting the color pixel data. The controller includes the number of which corresponds to a common multiple of m and n, an input data selector 120 for sequentially inputting the color pixel data in buffers of buffer strings (101 to 112), and output data selectors (130 to 132) for outputting pixel data from a plurality of buffers storing pixel data of the same color elements to the output buses (170 to 172) associated with each color element.
