SOLENOID CURRENT CONTROLLER AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid current controller and a method for current control, which can perform stably the current control of a solenoid even if there is ambient temperature variation of the controller. SOLUTION: In order to remove an error by offset voltage variation due to the change of ambient temperature of the controller, the offset voltage is calculated while the controller operates, the error is removed by performing the control with the value. Further, it is sufficient to make the offset voltage value at the time when the solenoid current is 0 A the offset voltage. In order to make the solenoid current 0 A, it is sufficient to make a switching transistor connected to the solenoid in series off. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
