Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ticket examination system and a ticket examination method that enable an accurate understanding of the status of users' use and accurate adjustments among businesses in case of alternative transportation. SOLUTION: The ticket examination system includes a reading means 106 for reading season ticket information from a ticket medium, a determination means 101 for determining whether or not a ticket section includes an interrupted section according to the season ticket information read by the reading means 106, and a writing means 106 for writing alternative ride information permitting an alternative ride on other transportation to the ticket medium if the determination means 101 determines that the ticket section includes an interrupted section.
