PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator having a door automatic opening device capable of reducing probability of defective operation even when chaff of stored food falls or the stored food itself falls. SOLUTION: In this refrigerator having a plurality of storage compartments in a state that at least one of the storage compartments has a drawer door capable of being taken in and out in the longitudinal direction, and a partitioning plate is disposed to partition the plurality of storage compartments, the drawer door is driven by a driving device disposed on a refrigerator body by turning on a switching device disposed on the partitioning plate by operating the door automatic opening device disposed on the drawer door, the drawer door is driven by the driving device disposed on the refrigerator body, the switch device has a case member disposed on the partitioning plate, and comprising a button and a holding portion for slidably holding the button, and the holding portion is provided with an opening upper edge portion and a side edge portion on a position projecting from a surface of the partitioning plate.
