VEHICULAR AIRBAG DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an airbag body inflated and deployed like a side airbag device of an open car to surely exhibit the desirable capture function to an occupant without increasing internal pressure. SOLUTION: When constituting the airbag body 5 stored in a storage part 4 arranged in a door 1 on the car body side in a folded-up state to capture and protect the occupant by inflating and deploying from an opening part 4a formed in the door 1, the airbag body 5 comprises an occupant protective bag part 5a protecting the occupant and an attitude support bag part 5b holding an inflating-deploying attitude of the occupant protective bag part 5a. The inflating-deploying attitude of the occupant protective bag part 5a inflated and deployed under proper internal pressure from a viewpoint of protecting the occupant, is supported by putting internal pressure under high pressure when inflating the attitude support bag part 5b.
