PHOTODETECTOR, BIOMETRIC INFORMATION DETECTING APPARATUS, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING PHOTODETECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photodetector which detects a super feeble light by a low voltage. SOLUTION: A photodetector 1 is equipped with: a substrate 2; an anode 3 which is formed on a front surface of the substrate 2 and has a transmissive properties to one of ultraviolet light, visible light and near infrared light; a photoconductivity organic semiconductor layer 4 which is formed on a front surface of the anode 3; and a cathode 5 which is formed on a front surface of the photoconductivity organic semiconductor layer 4, wherein a diameter of a crystal grain of the photoconductivity organic semiconductor layer 4 becomes small near the cathode 5, and moreover a conductivity distribution inside the photoconductivity organic semiconductor layer 4 decreases near the cathode 5.
