Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooler for avoiding upsizing and loss of power efficiency because the load of a computer or a server operating all day has a heavy load state where loads concentrate on a limited period of time, and an optimal cooling performance is needed even under such a situation. SOLUTION: In the cooler, a heat sink 82 and a heat transfer means having thermal directivity, e.g., a heat pipe 83, are thermally connected with a heating element, respectively, and heat of the heating element is transmitted to a heat sink depending on the heating value of the heating element and dissipated, or the heat dissipated from the heat sink and the heat transmitted by the heat pipe are thermally converted in a heat accumulator 84. The heat accumulator 84 is thermally connected with the heat sink through a heat transfer means, e.g., a vapor chamber, having thermal directivity different from that of the heat pipe. Heat accumulated in the heat accumulator is transmitted to the vapor chamber and the heat sink and dissipated, thus differentiating the heat transfer passage of the heating element depending on the heating value.
