Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the efficiency in setting driver software of a USB device shared by a plurality of host devices. SOLUTION: After a USB driver 12a corresponding to a backup device 9 is configured in an operation host device 1, the USB driver 12a and a file necessary for setup such as USB configuration information 13a are transferred from a LAN-I/F 3a thereof to a LAN-I/F 3b of a standby host device 2 via a HUB 5 and stored in an HDD 10b. When connection of the backup device 9 is switched by the USB switching device 6, the USB driver 12b is configured in the standby host device 2 using the USB driver 12b and the file necessary for set up such as the USB configuration information 13b stored in the HDD 10b.
