SHEET CARRYING DEVICE, AND SHEET PROCESSING DEVICE PROVIDED WITH THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet carrying device, and a sheet processing device, capable of restricting occurrence of sheet carrying defectives related to a special sheet without providing a new carrying passage. SOLUTION: A sheet carrying mechanism is provided with a carrying roller unit 220, a shape information obtaining part 350, and a CPU 300. The carrying roller unit 220 comprises a plurality of driven rollers 222A-222C to apply carrying force to the sheet at different positions in the width direction perpendicular to the sheet carrying direction. The shape information obtaining part 350 obtains the shape information of the sheet being carried by the carrying roller unit 220. The CPU 300 sets force to be applied from the driven rollers 222A-222C in the carrying roller unit 220 to the sheet based on the shape information of the sheet obtained by the shape information obtaining part 350.
