Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous casting method for a steel with internal cracks prevented where the maximum casting velocity which does not have a risk of generating internal cracks is correctly obtained by calculation in advance regarding various steel kinds, and productivity can be improved as possible. SOLUTION: When a steel is subjected to continuous casting, the componential values of the steel after secondary refining are analyzed, and, using a microsegregation model in accordance with the value, based on the relation between microsegregation and a solid phase ratio, an internal crack critical strain cr is calculated. Then, the maximum casting velocity Vc with which the total strain t upon continuous casting does not exceed the internal crack critical strain cr is decided, and continuous casting is performed at the maximum casting velocity Vc. As the componential values of the steel after secondary refining, the componential values of ≥5 elements including C, Si, Mn, P and S are analyzed per charge. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
