Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of yielding clean treated water by removing a suspended solid (hereinafter referred to as SS) from raw water containing a fine SS by coagulating sedimentation. SOLUTION: A water treatment method comprises the steps of adding a silicic acid source and a cationic resin in raw water, adjusting a pH to a range 6 to 10, and subjecting the SS to coagulating sedimentation. Also, it is preferable that the silicic acid source is silicic acid or alkali metal silicate. Further, it is preferable that the cationic acid resin of 10 to 100 mass parts in solid content is added to the silicic acid source of 100 mass parts on the SiO2basis. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
