Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system allowing smooth job processing while reducing cost in a configuration wherein a plurality of image processors are connected to a network. SOLUTION: In this system wherein a PC (personal computer), one storage device, and a plurality of MFPs (Multiple Function Peripherals) are connected through the network, when a required job includes a plurality of partial jobs (1), the PC divides the job into the partial jobs, and makes the storage device store the divided job. The plurality of MFPs respectively checks the presence of the partial job in each of the job (3), and decides: whether the partial job can be processed or not (4) when deciding that it is present. The MFP deciding that it can be processed makes the storage device store information of its own machine (entry), checks the entry of the information of the own machine by the other MFP, and determines the MFP optimum to process the partial job based on a common criterion (5). One determined MFP acquires document data (6), and performs the job processing (7). COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
