Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermo-adhesive conjugate polyester monofilament exhibiting high thread-slippage suppressing effect at the lattice points of a woven fabric, keeping a straight opening form and suitable for the production of a woven mesh fabric for a filter, which has high filtering performance and to provide a woven mesh fabric for a filter. SOLUTION: The thermo-adhesive conjugate polyester monofilament is composed of a component A being polyethylene terephthalate having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.70-1.25 and a component B being polyester having a melting point lower than that of the component A by 50-200°C, and has a rectangular or flat cross-section having a ratio (a)/(b) of a long side (a) to short side (b) of 1.2-2.0 and four straight line parts on the cross-section. The ratio of the conjugate cross-section of the component A to the component B (A:B) is 90:10 to 60:40, and the component B is conjugated to the four corners of the rectangular cross-section.
