HIGHLY DISPERSIBLE AND SPREADABLE NEEM OIL COMPOSITION, AND ITS USING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agricultural material composed only of a dietary material considering that an emulsifier for enhancing dispersibility admixed with and a spreading agent on dilution application added to neem oil, which has been conventionally sprayed for repellence of insect pests and bacteriostasis of plant pathogens, are not satisfactory from the viewpoint of safety. SOLUTION: Neem oil is dissolved in a uniform prepared solution, obtained by adding ethyl alcohol and water to lysolecithin obtained by enzymolysis of lecithin, under heating at 45°C or a lower temperature to give the neem oil composition composed only of a dietary material and highly dispersible and spreadable on a plant. Thus, repellence of insect pests and bacteriostasis of plant pathogens can be attained by diluting and spraying the neem oil composition as it is without requiring addition of a spreading agent thereto on dilution application, and therefore the neem oil composition contributes to prevention of environmental pollution and maintenance of health as an agricultural material exhibiting effects of repellence of insect pests and bacteriostasis of plant pathogens.
