Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial method and a method for deodorization excellent in safety and achieving effectiveness to the corners of an objective space, and microorganism powder, a microorganism-containing liquid agent and a microorganism-containing gelled agent. SOLUTION: This antibacterial method comprises inhibiting the growth of bacteria presenting in an almost hermetically closed space as a non-contact state by a volatile component released from the microorganisms, and also deodorizing by decomposing stink components. The microorganisms releasing the volatile component can be used as the microorganism powder prepared by drying the microorganisms carried on a microorganism carrier, as the microorganism-containing liquid agent prepared by mixing the microorganisms with an aqueous solution of calcium oxide or as the microorganism-containing gelled agent prepared by absorbing the water from the liquid agent by a water-absorbing polymer.
