Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous casting method of a steel where, in the case the surface temperature of a slab is made lower than an objective temperature during casting, the secondary cooling intensity at that time is reexamined and is newly reset, and the surface temperature of the slab is held, so as to be the objective temperature. SOLUTION: Upon continuous casting, casting and cooling are started in the cooling water quantity in a secondary cooling zone 6 previously set based on the shape of a slab 12, molten steel components and a slab drawing rate, and the temperature of the slab corner part is measured by a temperature detector 10 installed after the outlet side of the secondary cooling zone.
