Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic drive mechanism capable of flexible setting. SOLUTION: The hydraulic drive mechanism is provided for driving a variable capacity hydraulic motor 20 with pressure oil delivered from a variable capacity hydraulic pump 10 to output the drive of the hydraulic motor 20 to the outside. It comprises a torque upper limit value setting means for setting an upper limit value for the output torque of the hydraulic motor 20, and a control means for setting a maximum capacity limit value for the hydraulic motor 20 corresponding to the upper limit value for the output torque and setting a maximum capacity limit value for the hydraulic pump 10 corresponding to the upper limit value for the output torque when the torque upper limit value setting means sets the upper limit value for the output torque.
