Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument panel structure for an automobile provided with a display device in the upper part and an on-vehicle component thereunder, capable of inhibiting increase of the height of the upper face of an instrument panel even if the display device is enlarged. SOLUTION: The display device 20 is constituted of a display part 20a facing the surface of the instrument panel 1 and a display control part 20b arranged in the vehicle front side of the display part 20a and with its lower end positioned above the lower end of the display part 20a, and the on-vehicle component 50 is disposed utilizing the space in the vehicle front of the display part 20a and below the display control part 20b.
