Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capsule type medical device which can be guided to a target section side along the inside of a hollow organ in a short time by being rotated, and a capsule type medical device guiding system. SOLUTION: On a capsule main body 3C to be inserted into the hollow organ inside a body cavity, which is configured so that the diameter of at least one of the front part and the rear part in an advancing direction is narrowed to the end, a spiral projection 43 is provided on the outer peripheral surface and a spiral structure, in which the end 43a is extended to the vicinity of the boundary of a visual field angle near the distal end of a distal end cover 39, is attained. Thus, by rotating the capsule 3C in a rotating magnetic field or the like, the speed of propulsion is further increased and the capsule is more smoothly propelled along a bent duct.
