OPTICAL PICKUP AND ITS ASSEMBLING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup having simple structure and manufacturable at low cost, and its assembling method. SOLUTION: Pairs of recessed grooves 29 and 30 are formed at predetermined intervals up and down in the front 5c of a gel box 5, a plurality of recessed holes 31 having slits 31a is formed at predetermined intervals in the backside 5a of the gel box 5, a pair of left and right positioning pieces 32 is integrally disposed in the bottom surface 5d of the gel box 5, a floating preventing projection 34 is integrally projected in a support plate 4a by partially extruding one support plate 4a opposite the upper recessed groove 29, both positioning pieces 32 are inserted into a gel box facing hole 33, the upper recessed groove 29 is fitted to the floating preventing projection 34, thermosetting adhesives 20 are injected into the recessed grooves 29 and 30 and each recessed hole 31, the gel box 5 and a correction wire 6 are fixed by heating, and the tips of a plurality of elastic wires 10 extending from both side faces of a lens holder are soldered to the connection wiring 6.
