Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system permitting a wireless device to have access to electronic documents regardless of the size of the documents or the documents. SOLUTION: The system analyzes, organizes and stores electronic documents in a document object model using a common markup language. The document object model is stored in servers 10, 14, 50, 52, and the content is delivered to the wireless device 12 in a universal content system format 162. The document object model and the universal content stream with a corresponding reader on the wireless device are utilized to reduce the electronic document to only the essential content and the necessary format information for transmission.
