Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system and a printing method enhancing printing efficiency in an environment where an output device having made a print request and a printer belong to different networks. SOLUTION: A client device 1 belongs to a network 7 and outputs a print request command and print data. A file server 2 belongs to the network 7 and receives the print data output from the client device 1. A print server 6 receives the print request command output from the client device 1 and determines whether or not a printer that prints the print data belongs to a network 8 according to the print request command received; if the printer to output the data belongs to the network 8, a request to send the print data is sent to a file server 4 that belongs to the network 8.
