Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive plate manufacturing method improving whole rigidity while securing fabricability by applying nitriding treatment, wherein the drive plate has an improved fatigue strength as a whole by improving fatigue strength of the portions where repetitive deformation occurs, while suppressing fatigue cracking which is caused by a nitrogen compound layer formed with nitriding treatment, and also to provide the drive plate. SOLUTION: On the side of a transmission, an approximately circular projection range P2 is set around each transmission fastening portion 12 to provide for projection. An approximately elliptical projection range R2 radially extending in the radial direction is set between an engine fastening portion 11 and each transmission fastening portion 12 to provide for injection.
