Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer with the degree of versatility in the direction of installation and having no rail for attaching/detaching a tray. SOLUTION: The printer 1 has a discharge tray 2 which is attachable/detachable to/from a casing 7 and capable of storing cards 6 in a stacking manner. The casing 7 has an opening part 20 which is demarcated by a horizontal supporting surface 22 for supporting a bottom surface part of the discharge tray 2 and vertical butting surfaces 21a-21d abutted on a side face of the discharge tray 2 and stores the discharge tray 2. The horizontal supporting surface 22 has a lock mechanism including a projecting member for positioning and locking the discharge tray 2 at the position having a discharge port for receiving the cards 6 from a device body. The discharge tray 2 is attachable/detachable to/from the attaching position not only from a front direction and a side direction but also from an optional direction between the front direction and the side direction.
