STEERING CONTROL DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering control device for a vehicle capable of restraining responding delay of steering in releasing self-excited vibration restraining control to the minimum while effectively restraining self-excited vibration. SOLUTION: This steering control device for the vehicle is furnished with; a front wheel steering actuator 5 to vary a steering gear ratio which is a ratio of a steering angle of a steering wheel 10 against a steering angle of front wheels 11, 11; an electric current control part 42 to set a target front wheel steering angle in correspondence with a steering state of the steering wheel 10 and to PWM-control electric power to supply to the front wheel steering actuator 5 in accordance with the target front wheel steering angle and; a duty command value correcting means (actuator self-excited vibration determining part 43, duty command corrected value computing part 44, control change-over part 45) to maintain a duty command value constant when a deviation of the target front wheel steering angle and an actual steering angle is less than a prescribed value.
