PNEUMATIC TIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance operation stability of a pneumatic tire by ensuring the sufficient ground-contact property of a tire tread part and grip force while enhancing the lateral rigidity of the pneumatic tire. SOLUTION: A carcass 20 of a bias structure of the pneumatic tire 1 is formed by carcass layers 21, 22 of two layers in which polyethylene naphthalate cords inclined in an opposite direction to a tire circumferential direction are arranged. A reinforcement layer 30 is arranged between an apex rubber 11 and it along an inner side in a tire width direction of a winding-up part 20B of the carcass 20 to reinforce a tire side part. Further, the reinforcement layer 30 is reinforced by arranging a reinforcement element such as polyethylene naphthalate cord in the reinforcement layer 30. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
