Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording sheet to be used both as an inkjet recording and an electrophotographic recording sheet, which has favorable ink absorbency in an inkjet recording method and toner fixabilities in an electrophotographic recording method and at the same time has excellent glossiness. SOLUTION: A recording sheet comprises a coating layer mainly composed of a pigment and a binder formed on at least one surface of the substrate, wherein the pigment comprises satin white and an engineered kaolin having an aspect ratio of 15 to 60 and an average particle diameter of 0.2 to 0.8 μm.
