Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system which enables a computer to acquire a status of each image processor, even if the computer side undergoes no change when an integral-type image processing apparatus connected to the computer is substituted for a plurality of stand-alone image processors. SOLUTION: An indicating apparatus (POS computer) transmits status request data to a first image processor (receipt printer). When receiving the status request data, the first image processor transmits the status data of the first image processor to a second image processor (journal printer). The second image processor transmits response data, which indicate the statuses of the first and second image processors, to the indicating apparatus, on the basis of the status data of the first image processor, which are received from the first image processor.
