Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device which improves positioning precision between a spacer 6 and a front substrate 1 or a back substrate 2. SOLUTION: An image display device ensures airtight-sealing between one end face of a support base (5) and a front substrate (1) and between the other end face of the support base (5) and a back substrate (2) respectively using a sealing member (9). For connection with scanning line lead terminals at a peripheral boarder area on the back substrate (1), when a bundling group of scanning lines (S) which are cathode wirings on the back substrate (2) is a scanning line block, a spacing member (6) is arranged at a block end of the scanning line block.
