Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a complex operation type input device capable of performing highly reliable detection at rotation operation. SOLUTION: Retaining cases 6, 7 retaining an operating body 1 in free sliding and a rotor part 12 of a rotary encoder 3 are kept in concavo-convex engagement with each other, with an engagement protrusion 7f fitted into a concave slit 14a. Further, a rotation transmission member 8 getting engaged with a non-cylindrical part of a rotary shaft part 1a of the operating body 1 is engaged with a guide wall 7d of the retaining case 7 in free sliding, so that, when the rotary shaft part 1a rotates, the rotation transmission member 8 drives the retaining case 7 to rotate through the guide wall 7d. Therefore, the operating body 1 and the retaining cases 6, 7 integrally rotate at the rotation operation, and rotation movement of the operating body 1 is detected by the rotary encoder 3. However, the rotation transmission member 8 does not move or only move along the guide wall 7d, at the sliding operation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
