DISTRIBUTED MONITORING AND CONTROL SYSTEM, AND DATA UPDATE METHOD FOR MONITORING AND CONTROL SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retain the same equipment data in distributed systems as in a main system, and perform data updates on the data without causing data loss and other problems. SOLUTION: Each monitoring and control apparatus of a distributed monitoring and control system comprising a monitoring and control apparatus for monitoring or controlling equipment in assigned areas has an equipment DB for saving every piece of equipment data in association with the assigned area and an online/offline area attribute depending on the assigned area, an extraction means for extracting equipment data to be displayed from the equipment database at an update on the equipment database, an attribute conversion means for automatically setting the area attribute of the equipment data extracted by the extraction means which is on the other assigned areas to an offline state, a display processing means for displaying online and offline states based on the area attribute of the equipment data in an identifiable manner, and an area attribute setting means for changing the offline state area attribute to an online state.
