Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method capable of advantageously manufacturing a dust cover provided with projection parts for preventing durability from being degraded by contact with a shock absorber. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method is used for manufacturing a dust cover 1 provided with a plurality of projection parts 15 projecting inward in the radial direction at positions separated from an opening end surface of a tubular part 14 continuously formed on an bellows-cylindrical body part 11 toward the body part 11, and formed by being circumferentially spaced apart from each other at a predetermined distance. The manufacturing method carries out: a vulcanizing/molding process of forming the dust cover 1 in the circumference of a shaft-like molding core 3 by vulcanizing and molding a rubber material; and a demolding process of scooping up the tubular part 14 from the molding core 3 by inserting a tip part 51a of a tool 51 between the tubular part 14 and the molding core 3, and thereafter removing the dust cover 1 from the molding core 3 by holding the tubular part 14 by a clamp claw 54 to axially move it in a state where the whole dust cover 1 is expanded outward in the radial direction by blowing compressed air from the tip part 51a of the tool 51.
