RECORDING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image print of high quality free from unevenness by preventing separation of a recording medium from a fixing belt surface caused by skewing of a fixing belt and eliminating fixing marks of the recording medium to perform uniform fixing. SOLUTION: A fixing means 5 has a heating roller 51 arranged on a conveying-in side of the recording medium 1, an outlet roller 53 arranged on a conveying-out side of the recording medium 1, the fixing belt 54 wound around the heating roller 51 and the outlet roller 53, a pressure roller 55 pressing against the heating roller 51 with the fixing belt interposed between them, a deviation detection means 7 for detecting deviation of the fixing belt 54, and an adjusting means for the amount of twist of a pressure roller 8 for adjusting the amount of twist of the pressure roller 55 based on the deviation detection of the fixing belt 54 by the deviation detection means 7.
