MANUFACTURING METHOD OF MOLDED ARTICLE OF WOODY FOAMED MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for improving a foamed material by adding powder of charcoal 2 or seashells 3, introducing reinforcing material into the foamed material, and coating the entire foamed material with strong material. SOLUTION: The woody foamed material 1 is formed by as follows. The powder of the charcoal 2 or the seashells 3 and a perfume are added into a foaming liquid of a lignocellulose solution 17. Further isocyanate 18 is also added and stirred, then foaming starts by the reaction. Carbon dioxide gas is emitted and the foam is obtained. Residual gas or moisture is adsorbed by the charcoal or seashell powder so as to obtain the foam without deformation and contraction even if the foam is exposed to the air. A skeleton material 5 is added as the reinforcing material and the entire foamed material is covered with a frame of strong thick layer paper 9 or a frame of aluminum foil sheet 15 so as to obtain a woody foam sheet 1 which has strength against bending or compression.
