Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling carrier device having an endless belt formed of a non-sponge material, thereby, in comparison with conventionals formed of a sponge material, excellent in durability, hardly causing winding habit around a pulley even when keeping for a long term, and improved in maintenance. SOLUTION: This seedling carrier device 1 has a pair of pulleys 4, 5 and belt mechanisms 2, 3 each containing an endless belt 6 wound around the both pulleys 4, 5, wherein the almost vertically extending parts of the peripheral surface of the both endless belts 6, 6 face each other and are formed to nip a root part Pa of a pot seedling P and to carry downward the pot seedling P nipped with the parts, by rotated and driven to move downward the facing parts at the almost same velocity. The both belt mechanisms 2, 3 have the both endless belts 6, 6 formed with a non-sponge material. The upper side pulleys 4, 4 are each supported at the almost same height, a space S between the upper pulleys 4, 4, in a state that each upper endless belt 6 is wound around, is set somewhat narrower than the thickness of the root part Pa.
