OPTICAL DISK DEVICE, OPTICAL DISK RECORDING/REPRODUCING METHOD, OPTICAL DISK RECORDING/REPRODUCING PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM STORING THE PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent interruption of reproducing/recording by suppressing the temperature rise of an optical pickup during optical disk reproducing/recording. SOLUTION: In ripping from an optical disk 14 to a hard disk 10 in the optical disk recording/reproducing device 1, when the temperature of an optical pickup 3 reaches a threshold value T1 lower than an operation upper limit temperature, ripping is carried out from a predetermined position of the outer periphery of the optical disk 14 capable of maintaining a temperature lower than that of the point of ripping after the current ripping position is stored. When the temperature of the optical pickup 3 reaches a threshold value T2 lower than the threshold value T1, the ripping is restarted from the storing position. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
