PARTICLE SIZE DISTRIBUTION MEASURING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle diameter distribution measuring apparatus capable of making the user side reliably determine whether a measured particle diameter distribution is correct or not. SOLUTION: The particle diameter distribution measuring apparatus 1 for computing a particle diameter distribution of a sample particle group on the basis of light intensity distribution data corresponding to diffraction generated by the irradiation of the sample particle group with measuring light L and/or a spreading angle of scattering light LS is provided with: a hypothetical particle diameter distribution data receiving part 52 for receiving hypothetical particle diameter distribution data, data indicating a hypothetical particle diameter distribution; a light intensity distribution computing part 54 for computing a hypothetical light intensity distribution data on the basis of values of the hypothetical particle diameter distribution data; and an output part 55 for comparably outputting the hypothetical light intensity distribution data and observed light intensity distribution data based on observed values of each photo-detector 4 and outputting evaluation data for evaluating the degree of matching of each light intensity distribution data.
