Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective cover which keeps flexible property of a corrugated pipe itself, allows insert an object to be protected to be inserted from a split formed over the entire axial length of the corrugated pipe, and keeps the split open when inserting the object to be protected from the split, and also to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In the protective cover 1, a plurality of openings 17 which are provided along an axial direction are provided in at least some areas of a position apart from the split 15 of the corrugated pipe 10 and a hinge part for opening and closing the split 15 is formed by the plurality of openings 17 and areas between the openings 17. In a protective cover 2, at least some areas of the position apart from the split 15 of the corrugated pipe 10 has an approximately flat area 35 provided along the axial direction, and a hinge part for opening and closing the split 15 is formed by the approximately smooth area 35.
